Pakistan defeated Frigg Oslo FK 11-1 in the opening match of Norway Cup 2023 on Sunday. This victory marked the beginning of Pakistan's journey.
Men in Green got off to a great start with Saud Ahmed scoring in the sixth minute. Moments later, Abid Ali doubled Pakistan's lead in the seventh minute.
There was no stopping the Green Shirts as Saud extended their lead significantly in the eleventh minute. Then four minutes later, Abid scored his second goal of the game in the fifteenth minute.
Scott McNoul's goal gave the hosts a chance to make a comeback after a brilliant performance by Pakistan.
The visitors won the game without a hitch, scoring twice to end the first half with a shocking 6-1 scoreline.
During the second half, Pakistan continued to dominate and scored five more goals to record their biggest win of the tournament, taking their tally to 11.
Abid gave his team the lead by scoring four goals in a brilliant display of football.
Pakistan is participating in the tournament under the name Muslim Hands FC as it plays under the banner of Muslim Hands, a Pakistani charity.
The tournament has 2,350 teams and around 30,000 players participating in various events.
