A man has been detained by the police in Rawalpindi man captured on a charge of allegedly raping his minor niece who is hard of hearing.

As per the First Information Report (FIR), Zafar Mahmood informed the police about his sibling's visit to his home in Rawalpindi on Thursday during his absence, where his 11-year-old daughter with special needs was allegedly assaulted. The Rawalpindi man has been captured in connection with the incident.

The Rawalpindi man captured the incident after his daughter narrated the occurrence to him. Upon getting his little girl's medical examination done at a nearby clinic, he promptly approached the police to report the matter, leading to the apprehension of the suspect.

The police stated that they were awaiting the medical examination report for the minor girl.

After apprehending the Rawalpindi man in connection with the case, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Raja Bakht Nosherwan Adil, the official investigating the matter, stated that the police would proceed with the investigation once they receive the report from the Punjab Science Forensic Organization.
