In my opinion, there are sufficient grounds to proceed under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1989, as a temporary measure and prompt remedy to prevent loss of lives and disturbance of public peace and tranquility in Lahore district," it added, emphasizing the importance of taking necessary precautions, especially along the Ravi Stream.
"Swimming, bathing, boating in River Ravi and canals besides playing on the banks of these water bodies in Lahore district" has been prohibited from July 22 to July 28.
